Biography
Born in 1957 in Lyon . In 1976 he took part in the Olympic Games in Montreal , but did not win any awards. In 1978 he became the silver medalist of the world championship. In 1979 he became the world champion. In 1980 he won the gold and bronze medals of the Olympic Games in Moscow . At the 1982 World Championships, he won gold and silver medals. In 1984 he took part in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles , where he won silver and bronze medals. In 1985, he won the bronze medal at the World Championships. In 1986 he became a world champion. At the World Championships in 1987 won the bronze medal. In 1988 he won the gold and silver medals of the Olympic Games in Seoul . In 1990, he won the silver medal at the World Championships.
