Alexander Otarovich Zaalishvili ( Georgian ალექსანდრე ოთარის ძე ზაალიშვილი ; October 20, 1966) is a Soviet, Georgian and Russian footballer , striker and midfielder .

Biography

He began to play at an adult level in 1983 in the team “ Mertskhali ” in the second league . In the same year he was listed in the composition of “ Guria ” and the Kutaisi “Torpedo” , in the latter he played for the backup team in the championship of doubles of the major league.

Since 1984, he played for the second league clubs representing the Georgian SSR , including Dilu (Gori), Kolkheti (Poti), Meshakhta (Tkibuli). In total, he played about 130 matches in the second Soviet league.

After the formation of the independent championship of Georgia, he played for Alazani in 1990 in the first league , then for two seasons in the major league. At the highest level he played 37 matches and scored 14 goals. In the 1992/93 season he was part of the Kolkheti club (Khobi), but the team refused to participate after the first rounds.

Since 1994, he played in Russia for clubs of the second and third leagues and amateur groups.

After the end of his playing career, he worked as the administrator of the club "Bataisk-2007" (2007-2008). In the first half of 2009, he worked as a coach of the Rostov SKA , where he assisted Badri Spanderashvili [1] .
