Ears is a tiny island in the Amur Bay of the Sea of Japan , 160 meters northwest of Russky Island and 10 km south of the center of Vladivostok. It consists of two rocks connected by a low isthmus and resembling ears in appearance. Among locals, the name Donkey Ears is also common.

The size of the island is about 45 m long and 22 wide. Area 0.06 hectares . The maximum height above sea level is 6 meters. The island is almost completely devoid of vegetation, only on a rocky isthmus succulents grow. Gulls and cormorants gather on the rocky peaks, the rocks are covered with bird droppings. The cape facing the Russky Island, folded by conglomerates, is subjected to abrasive waves, as a result of which a small arch formed. A rocky ridge stretches to the west of the island with a depth of up to 5.2 m; to the northeast lies the bank of Nakhimov with the smallest depth of 4.8 m [1] . Ears Island is often visited by tourists. In January - February, motionless ice forms around the island.
In summer, you can wade the island.
