Biography

Born on September 19, 1934 in the village of Shantyrovo, Miory District, Vitebsk Region, Belarusian SSR, in a peasant family.

Activity

1950 - 1952 - Pupil of the Handicraft School No. 13 of the Ministry of Labor Reserves and the School of Working Youth No. 11 (Leningrad).

1952-1953 - A worker at the A. Marti Shipyard (Leningrad), a student of the evening faculty of the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute.

1953-1958 - cadet of the Leningrad Higher Naval School of Weapons Engineers (Faculty of Chemistry; specialty "chemical engineer").

1958 - 1960 - Service in the Navy of the USSR (Liepaja, Latvian SSR).

1960 - 1962 - Senior Engineer, Head of the Laboratory of the SKB Microelectronics (Leningrad).

1962 - 1974 - Head of Laboratory, Head of Department, Deputy Director for Research (1971–1974) of the Research Institute of Electronic Materials of the Ministry of Electronic Industry of the USSR (Ordzhonikidze).

1968 - the scientific degree of a Candidate of Technical Sciences was awarded (the dissertation topic was “The Influence of Some Factors on the Protection of Silicon Packageless Semiconductor Devices for Microchips”).

1971 - awarded the academic title of associate professor.

1974 - 1976 - Vice-Rector for Research of the Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute.

1976 - 1996 - Rector of the Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute [1] .

1986 - 1994 - Head of the Department of Chemistry, Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute (since 1993 - Polotsk State University ).

Since 1994 - retired.

Awards

  • Medal "For Labor Difference" (1966) [2] .
  • Winner of the USSR State Prize (1973) "for the development of technology, construction, materials, high-performance assembly equipment, the organization of mass production of high-frequency transistors in a plastic case for radio electronic equipment of wide application" [3] .
