Description
According to Article 3 of the Law of the Astrakhan region "On the flag and coat of arms of the Astrakhan region" of December 19, 2001 [1] ,
The flag of the Astrakhan region is a rectangular cloth of blue color , in the middle of the flag is a golden crown , consisting of a hoop with three visible leaf-shaped teeth and a golden miter , fastened with five visible arcs decorated with pearls and with a green lining. Miter is crowned with a golden ball with a cross . Under the crown, silver with a gold hilt, an oriental sword pointto the right . The overall width of the image of a gold crown with a silver with a gold hilt with an oriental sword on the flag of the Astrakhan region should be 1/4 of the length of the flag panel. The ratio of the width of the panel to the length is 2: 3.
Articles 4-10 of this Law govern the rules and procedures for the official use of the flag .
