The Tarbella is one of the significant Gallic tribes that lived in Aquitaine , between the Adur River and the Pyrenees . They were part of the tribal union of the cantabras .
The area they occupied was sandy and infertile, but rich in gold and mineral springs. The main city is Aquae Tarbellicae , now Dacys on the Adura.
