Career
He started playing football at the age of four at the Plefferverk school. At 12, he moved to the Empor team in Berlin, from where scouts from one of the Bundesliga ’s major clubs, Hannover 96, looked at him.
From the second half of the 2017/2018 season, while continuing to play for the U-19 youth team, he began to be involved in training with the main team. In February 2018, he signed a four-year contract with the club [1] . On March 18, Maina made her debut in the Bundesliga in a duel against Dortmund Borussia , substituting in the 86th minute instead of Marvin Bacalorets [2] . In total, in the debut season he spent 2 matches, in both he came on as a substitute.
