Biography
In the early 1840s, he worked as a music teacher in the family of aristocrats Teleki in Gyёмmre . In 1845 he made his debut as a composer at a concert at the National Theater in Budapest . In 1846, he went on tour to Transylvania , then went abroad. He repeatedly performed concerts with great success in London (where he lived several times for a long time), Paris , Hamburg , etc. In 1852 he finally settled in Pest, where he was very popular as a music teacher.
From 1879 until his death, he was a pianist at the National Theater .
He has published many symphonies, chamber music, piano compositions (concerts, fantasies, ensembles), as well as orchestral works and ensembles for stringed instruments, etc.
