Staudinger's thick-headed head [1] ( lat. Muschampia staudingeri ) is a butterfly from the head of the family.

Name Etymology
The species name was given in honor of Otto Staudinger (1830-1900), a German entomologist , creator of the entomological catalog of 1861 [1] .
Description
The length of the front wing is 15-18 mm. The wings are dark brown with distinct white spots on the front wing and fuzzy whitish ones on the hind wing. The underside of the anterior wing is light gray with distinct white spots, the hind wing is white, with bright yellow bandages bordered by black lines [1] .
Range
Central Asia , East Kazakhstan [1] .
Biology
Butterflies inhabit steppe areas in mountain basins and on slopes. Develops in one generation in a year. Butterfly flight time : end of May - July. Preimaginal stages are not described [1] .
