Content
History
In 1966, by a decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the RSFSR, the farm farm No. 3 of the Kletsky state farm was renamed Kurgan [2] .
In accordance with the Law of Volgograd Region dated February 14, 2005 No. 1003-OD “On Establishing Borders and Granting the Status of Kletsk District and Municipal Formations in Its Composition” [3] , the farm became part of the formed Kalmykovsky rural settlement.
Geography
Located in the western part of the region, in the steppe , at the foot of the Don Ridge , which is part of the East European Plain .
