Meyirim Nursultanov (born July 27, 1993 , Ayagoz, East Kazakhstan Region , Kazakhstan ) is a Kazakh boxer , MSMK , champion of Kazakhstan 2014, champion of the World Series of Boxing ( WSB ) 2015. Professional middleweight boxer (middleweight). In the ninth battle without defeat in the States, he won the NABF Junior Middleweight Championship Belt (2018).

Biography
“My older brother has always been my idol. I always watched him. He is an excellent boxer. Boxing is a real sport. Everyone should know how to protect themselves and their family.” - Meyirim Nursultanov. In the formation of Meyirim as a boxer, the main role was played by his older brother, champion of Asia 2013 and world champion 2013 (weight 64 kg) Merey Akshalov . Since then, at the amateur level, Nursultanov spent about 250 fights [2] .
Amateur Career
In November 2009, 16-year-old Nursultanov won the Uralsk Championship of Kazakhstan among youth 1992-1993. born in a weight of 64 kg and received a ticket to the Asian Championship [3] .
In March 2010 he became the champion of Asia among youth in Tehran ( Iran ) in the weight up to 64 kg [4] .
In 2012, the 19-year-old Nursultanov won the bronze medal of the adult Kazakhstan boxing championship in Astana in the weight category up to 69 kg, then Daniyar Eleusinov became the champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in this weight, having won Asia and the world that year [5] .
He became the champion of Kazakhstan in December 2014 in Taraz , weighing up to 75 kg, beating Nurzat Sabirova from SKO in the final [6] .
Astana Arlans
He was invited to the Kazakhstan semi-professional team of the World Boxing Series (WSB) “ Astana Arlans ”. He became one of the main characters of the 2015 season. In his weight category up to 75 kg, he won all the fights, confidently defeating Cuban Lopez Cardona from the Cuba Domadores team (3-0) in the final, and Astana Arlans became the WSB champion for the second time [7] .
Professional career
In 2016, the 23-year-old boxer decided to go professional and signed a contract with Main Events, which is managed by Katy Duva. The manager of the boxer is Egis Klimas, who also leads the affairs of Russian Sergei Kovalev and Ukrainians Vasily Lomachenko and Alexander Usik . The trainer is Roberto Garcia. Training base in the town of Oxnard , California , USA . He trains in the same team with his fellow countryman Madiyar Ashkeev .
Sergey Kovalev - Andre Ward held his debut fight on November 19, 2016 in the US Las Vegas undercard and defeated Henry Beckford in 6 rounds by unanimous decision (60:54, 60:54, 60:54).
Two years later, on October 13, 2018 in Las Vegas ( USA ), in his ninth fight, without defeats, he won the NABF North American title , defeating African American Jamar Freeman (15-) by unanimous decision (80:71, 80:71, 80:71) 6-2) [8] .
