Content
Description
The total length reaches 24 cm. The skin color is brown, olive, grayish. The head and most of the tail in males are red, orange, yellowish. In females, yellow stripes or spots stretch along the head. In males, the colors are much brighter. The head is elongated, the body is cylindrical, slender. A considerable part is occupied by a rather long tail. The limbs are quite strong and powerful with pointed claws.
Lifestyle
It prefers semi-deserts , deserts , rocky and rocky places. It moves well on a vertical and inclined surface. Hiding in crevices and under stones. Active during the day. It feeds on insects , invertebrates .
Reproduction
This is an egg-laying lizard. The female lays 5-10 eggs.
Distribution
It lives in Namibia , Angola and Cameroon .
