Biography
Olimpiada Valerievna Teterich was born on April 21, 1980 in Moscow. She received such an unusual name in honor of the 1980 Summer Olympics . Parents wanted her daughter to go in for sports and, in three and a half years, sent her to the gymnastics section. At the age of six, the Olympics began to engage in synchronized swimming, and in school years became interested in ballroom dancing. [one]
At the age of 16, Lipa began working in a fashionable Moscow nightclub, where she met music producer Andrei Zuev, who invited her to undergo a casting in the new muse project “Marmeladova Sisters”. So Lipa became a member of the group and first hit the Russian pop scene. Soon the group ceased to exist, and after some time the Olympics fell into the project of Igor Matvienko “Girls” , where Valentina Rubtsova , Tatyana Gerasimova and Irina Dubtsova became her colleagues. After the breakup of the group in 2003, Lipa took up journalism. She worked as a DJ at Dynamite FM radio station, and then switched to MUZ-TV, where she hosted the reality show Seven Under the Sun.
