Botany Swarm is a team of the New Zealand Hockey League based in Auckland , New Zealand. The team was founded in 2005 as the South Oakland Swarm. In the 2007 season, the name of the team was changed, as it was similar to the name of other teams, and also in order to better reflect the geographical location of the team.
