Georgy G. Borman ( February 1875 or February 6, 1873 [1] , St. Petersburg - January 8, 1952 , Paris ) is a Russian entrepreneur , the son of Grigory Nikolayevich Borman , and since 1899 the director of the Georges Bormann partnership.

Biography
George G. Borman was born in St. Petersburg in 1875. From 1883 to 1890 he studied at the St. Petersburg school of Karl May [2] . After graduating from high school, George G. Bormann continued his education at the commercial academy in Leipzig . About two years internship in Germany , where he studied confectionery. In 1893 he returned to Petersburg.
At the turn of the XIX - XX centuries, George G. Borman modernized and significantly expanded the production of sweets at the confectionery factory on Angliysky Prospekt . In 1895, together with his father, he transformed the matter into a partnership on shares with an authorized capital of 1.6 million rubles.
In 1896, George G. Borman opened a confectionery factory in Kharkov , and subsequently two large stores. Together with partners, Bormann expanded the range of manufactured products, focusing on the manufacture of inexpensive, affordable for a wide range of consumers of confectionery products . At the beginning of the 20th century, George G. Borman initiated the decision to create a network of specialized confectionery stores in St. Petersburg.
In 1917, George G. Borman left Russia. Settled in France since 1920 , where he opened a pastry shop in Paris (26, av. De l'Opéra, 9th).
He was buried in the cemetery of Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois .
