Biography
Born on February 27, 1929 in the city of Frunze (Bishkek). The real name is Kulbubu, the stage name is Erkin. Father - Chorton Bekbulatov, head of the printing house. Mother - Kalbubu Mademilova, artist of the Kyrgyz Theater Studio.
In 1937-1941 she studied at the Vaganov Leningrad Choreographic School. After the start of the war, she returned to Frunze, studied in a choreographic studio.
From 1947 to 1953 she was a soloist with the Kyrgyz State Opera and Ballet Theater. She took the stage name Erkin to herself so that she would not be confused with her mother. She performed leading solo parts in the performances of Swan Lake, Raymond, Laurencia, Bakhchisarai Fountain, Coppelia, Cholpon, Anar and others.
In 1953-1958, a student of GITIS them. A. Lunacharsky, specialty "director-choreographer" (class of laureate of the Lenin Prize, academician R.V. Zakharov).
