Honorary titles of Karachay-Cherkessia

The honorary titles of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic are awarded for outstanding special merit in culture , art , science and technology , public education , health care , economics , industry , agriculture , public service, and other areas of work and high professional skill.

For some honorary titles of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic two degrees are established: “ People's ”, “ Honored ”. The honorary title "People's" can be assigned only five years after assigning the honorary title "Honored". Re-assignment of the same rank is not made ^[1] .

The honorary titles of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic are awarded by the Head of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic . This honor is conferred on citizens living in Karachay-Cherkessia and other citizens of the Russian Federation .

Deprivation of the honorary title can be made only by the Head of the Republic .

The Maternal Glory title of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic is awarded by the Head of the KCR to Mother's Day (last Sunday of November) and Family Day (May 15) ^[2] . Re-awarding is not made, the presentation to the award is made at the birth of the fifth and subsequent children or adoption and decent education for 5 years.

The Order is the highest state award of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The order is awarded to citizens no earlier than 20 years after the start of professional activity in the presence of the honorary title of Russia, the sectoral (departmental) award of the federal government body and the honorary title of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Also, the order is awarded for the accomplishment of the feat, courage, courage and bravery. Re-award is not made, except for the award for another feat ^[3] . The first award was made on June 12, 2015 ^[4] .
