The Sithans [1] ( lat. Sitana ) is a genus of lizards from the agamic family that lives in Southeast Asia .

Content
DescriptionThe total size of representatives of the genus ranges from 12 to 20 cm. The skin color is brown, olive-brown in different shades with dark spots, light stripes stretch on the sides. The belly is dull white, yellowish. The throat bag is whitish, blue, reddish. It has the ability to stretch and swing it far, like a fan. The tail is longer than the body, flattening towards the end. Its sizes in different species fluctuate. Tail scales of the same size with dorsal scales, located regular transverse rings or oblique lines. The limbs are thin with 4 tenacious fingers.
LifestyleThey live in rocky and rocky terrain with sparse vegetation. Run well and climb through bushes and trees. They feed on insects .
ReproductionThese are egg-laying lizards. Females lay up to 5 eggs.
DistributionThe range covers Nepal , India , Sri Lanka , sometimes found in Pakistan .
