Breathe (Erasure song)

Written and produced by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell , “Breathe” is a mid-tempo love song similar in style to “ Always ”, released by Erasure in 1994 in support of their sixth studio album I Say I Say I Say and later included in his tracklist. The radio version of the song was slightly modified compared to the landscape version, primarily for intro .

The British limited release CD version of the release contained materials with which fans could create their own remixes of the song. After some time, it became possible to upload them to a separate site ( erasuredownload.com , as of 2018 does not work), specially created for exchanging remixes.

One passerby accidentally touches the matchbox, and the matches wake up on the sidewalk. When the girl reaches out to the scattered matches for the hands to collect them, some matches begin to dance. The snowfall begins, the girl leaves the street and goes to bed near the wall of the building and a large garbage can. She lights a match, warms her hands and soon falls asleep . A lit match dances until it burns out.
