Biography
He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations ( MGIMO ) of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1977). He speaks English and Serbian . At diplomatic work since 1977.
In 1993 - 1996 - Advisor to the Department of International Organizations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 1996 - 2010, he was an employee of the UN peacekeeping mission in Belgrade, the UN mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UN mission for interim administration in Kosovo, and the chief of staff of the UN mission in Liberia.
In 2010 - 2017 - Chief of Staff of the African Union-UN Joint Operation in Darfur (Sudan).
In 2014, he temporarily served as deputy head of the UN mission in southern Lebanon.
Since March 14, 2018 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Rwanda [1] .
