Nia was born on June 11, 1995 in St. Paul , the capital of Minnesota , in the family of Richard and Sheba Coffey, she has a brother, Amir, and a sister, Sidney, and studied in the nearby town of Minnetonka in Hopkins High School, in which she played for local basketball team.
