Novosibirsk Regional Clinical Dermatovenerologic Dispensary is a medical and preventive medical institution located in Novosibirsk . It was founded in 1923.
Content
History
In October 1923, an order was issued by the Novonikolayevsky Provincial Department of Health to organize a dispensary.
In 1924, the institution was visited by N. N. Semashko, People's Commissar of Health.
In 1925, in the report of the head of the Union Venereological Organization V.M. Bronner at the II All-Union Congress in Kharkov, the Novonikolaevsky dispensary was highly appreciated.
From 1928 to 1942, the dispensary operated a labor dispensary with premises for resettlement of persons without a fixed place of residence, prostitutes and workshops (hosiery, blanket, sewing).
In 1929, the first point was created for the individual prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
In 1938, the medical institution was reorganized into a regional dispensary.
In 1952, a hospital with 40 beds was opened, an X-ray room was equipped.
In 1953, a mycological cabinet appeared with the functions of conducting a cultural diagnosis of mycoses.
Until 1965, patients with both skin and sexually transmitted diseases were admitted to the inpatient department. In 1965-1970, the institution acts as a mycological hospital.
In 1970, due to the high incidence of syphilis, the dispensary was converted into a venereal clinic.
In 1978, the institution established one of the first in the Soviet Union operational search and delivery group for examination and treatment of evading individuals, as well as people who had contact with venbol.
