Biography
Vasily Fedorovich Antonov was born on January 14, 1919 in a Don Cossack family, in the village of Trekhostrovskaya in the Ilovlinsky district of the Volgograd region .
- 1941 - graduated from the History Department of the Rostov State Pedagogical Institute .
- 1941-1945 - participated in the Great Patriotic War .
- 1945-1946 - Instructor of the central council of the sports society "Petrel" .
- 1946-1947 - Assistant, Department of History of the USSR, Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. V.P. Potemkin .
- 1947 - Assistant of the Department of History of the Circassian GUI .
- 1949-1950 - Graduate student of the Department of History of the USSR State Pedagogical Institute. V.P. Potemkin .
- 1950 - defended his thesis; topic: "Land management of the auls of Cherkessia during the period of restoration of the national economy."
- 1950-1953 - Director of the Velsky Institute [1] .
- 1953-1956 - Director of the Karelian State Pedagogical Institute .
- 1956-1960 - Associate Professor, Department of History, Lipetsk State Pedagogical Institute .
- 1960-1966 - Head of the Department of Methods of Teaching History of the Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute ;
- then: there - vice-rector for scientific work.
- 1966-1968 - Doctoral student, Department of History of the USSR, Moscow State Pedagogical Institute.
- 1968-1971 - Associate Professor of the Department of History of the CPSU Military Political Academy named after V.I. Lenin .
- 1969 - defended his doctoral dissertation; topic: "The historical concept of P. L. Lavrov and his assessment of the main stages of universal and Russian history."
- 1971-1980 - Head of the Department of History of the USSR University of Friendship of Peoples .
- At the department under the scientific supervision of V.F. Antonova candidate dissertations were prepared and defended: V.G. Dzhangiryan, R.A. Arslanova, V.P. Kozlova, V.M. Novikova, G.I. Kucherkova et al. [2] .
- 1980-1982 - Head of the Department of History of the USSR, Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute.
