Content

Club career

Keglevits began his professional football career at the club. In 1979, he became a Vienna Rapid player, and made his debut in the Austrian championship in the 1979/80 season [1] . In his debut season, he won a place on the Rapida main team, where his attack partners were Hans Krankl and Anatoly Zinchenko . In 1982, the footballer won his first Austrian championship, in 1983 he scored a gold double with his club (championship and cup ), and in 1984 won the national cup again.

In the summer of 1984, Keglevits moved to another Vienna club, the Wiener Sport Club . In 1985, he flew with him to the First League , where he played for a year. In 1989, Keglevits returned to Rapid and played two seasons in it, scoring 19 goals. In 1991, he moved to the Salzburg Austria . In the 1991/92 season, he took second place in the championship with Austria, after which he moved to LASK . The player spent one season in it, and in 1993 he returned to the Wiener Sport Club, where he ended his career in 1994.

Team Career

Keglevits made his debut for the Austrian national team on October 8, 1980 in a friendly match against Hungary (3: 1), in which he scored two goals. In 1990, he was included in the national team for the World Cup in Italy . In this tournament, Christian was a substitute player and did not enter the field [2] . From 1980 to 1991, Keglevits spent 18 matches for the national team and scored 3 goals.

Coaching career

After the end of his career as a football player, Keglevitz became a coach. The first club in Christian's coaching career was the Gerasdorf / Stammersdorf club, after which he headed the Floridsdorf club. In 2000, he became an assistant to the head coach of the club HAK . In 2001, Keglevits was the acting head coach of the team, and in 2002, held this post for a short time on a full-fledged basis. After that, he headed the clubs “ ” and “Heicendorf”. From 2011 to 2012, he served as youth coordinator at the Victoria Wiener Club.
