The item was in the collection of Emperor Rudolph II . His motif with a dragon is characteristic of the Milan workshop of Mizeroni.
This exhibit harmoniously combines the work of a cutter and the art of an unknown jeweler. The result was an alarming fantastic image: the one who wanted to drink from the bucket in the form of a dragon needed to take the bucket in his hands, holding the dragon’s golden wings and put his lips to the pointed end of the tail of the monster. However, at the same time, the dragon turns its head, looks at the one who drinks with hot eyes, bared his teeth.
