Biography
Born on January 31, 1966 in the city of Pervomaisk, Luhansk region. From 1981 to 1983, he studied at the vocational school No. 84 in Pervomaisk, specializing in the Underground Electrical Worker, and from 1983 to 1984, he studied at the school for working youth. He served in Turkmenistan, in tank troops, as the commander of the T-62 tank.
Since 1986, Ishchenko began his career in the coal industry. Prior to the outbreak of hostilities in 2014, he worked on a rotational basis at the Severnaya mine in Vorkuta, a 5th-grade tuner, earning a lot of money for a family left in Pervomaisk. Until his retirement, he did not finish only six months. “He was a very simple man - a miner, with huge, hands crushed by labor. Until the civil war began, ”writes A. Dyukov about it.
With the outbreak of war, Ishchenko immediately returned home, not even having time to take things with him. “I arrived in shorts, picked up a weapon and here I am in front of you,” he said at the September rally. The future people's mayor did not even have a razor with him.
July 22-23 Ishchenko fought with the National Guard under the fighter of the 1st Cossack regiment named after Platov with the call sign "Kid." Once he left the front for two days. His wife Olga was supposed to give birth. Ishchenko took her and his eldest son Stas to Rostov, and he returned to the front line. In those days, he had a daughter. Ischenko also took his father and mother to Russia. They settled in Voronezh. In the midst of the fighting, the husband of Olga's sister died. A fragment of the Ukrainian shell overtook him in the section of his own house. Because of the inability to take the body to the cemetery due to shelling, he, like many of those who died then, was buried there in the garden. Olga with her children returned to Pervomaisk at the first opportunity and with her husband survived the terrible months of the city’s defense. 6-year-old Stanislav, like other children of Pervomaisk, almost did not leave the basement. And when the father left, he asked his mother if he would return ... [1] .
On December 2, 2014, Igor Plotnitsky nominated Ishchenko for the post of commandant of Pervomaisk, and then the LPR administration approved him at the post and. about. the mayor of the city.
Ishchenko was a consistent opponent of the Minsk agreements, which, in his opinion, only increased the victims of Donbass, giving the Armed Forces of Ukraine time for a respite on the accumulation of forces. His angry, painful accusatory monologue at Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky’s address, pronounced on the ruins of the next destroyed house, under which the mother of three children died, is widely known: “Ask the civilian population if it is worth signing another peace treaty on these conditions? Every day we rake the corpses of people and catch shells! .. Look at this murdered woman, she has three children left orphans! .. With whom do you sign the agreement ?! You meanly, meanly sign this agreement! We must sign a plan for the liberation of the republics, not shameful peace treaties! On the corpse of this woman, sign this agreement! Come to Pervomaisk, see what you sign! .. We have already ceased to be afraid of everything. If you sign this vile treaty, then ... Why are they killing people, and our soldiers are not at the forefront ?! Our leaders share power, make people grief. They should be ashamed of both, very ashamed ”? [2] .
Doom
He died on January 23, 2015, during shelling by unknown persons on the Pervomaisk-Lisichansk highway, towards Gorsk, 1 km from the turn to the Rodina village. On that day, he personally met humanitarian aid from Russia. Together with him, three more volunteers from Russia died. [3] . [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
