How a curling player performed in the team of the province of Nova Scotia at the men's championships of Canada in 1965, 1967, 1970; He also played in the team of veterans of the province of Nova Scotia at the Canadian championships among veterans 1992, 1993, 1997, 2003. He achieved more noticeable success as a curling player as a trainer: he trained Mark Dacy and Colin Jones among other teams, bringing them to perform at world championships (the only curling coach in Canada who has managed to do this with both the male and female teams).
