Limnios was born into the family of former Greek footballer Stelios and Brazilian Ainde. [2]
Club career
Limnios - a pupil of the club " Nicky Hair " from his hometown [3] . In 2012, Dmitrios joined the youth team of the capital's Atromitos . On October 25, 2014, in the match against Ergotelis , he made his debut in the Greek Super League , for the main team [4] . His debut at the age of 16 became the third in the history of the Greek League. On December 4, 2016, in a duel against Larissa , Dmitrios scored his first goal for Atromitos [5] . In the summer of 2017, Limnios moved to PAOK . The transfer amount was about 900 thousand euros. On August 20, in a match against Levadiakos , he made his debut for a new team [6] . On November 29, in the Greek Cup match against Aguignacos, Dimitrios scored his first goal for PAOK [7] . At the end of the season, he helped the club take second place in the championship and win the national cup. On August 8, 2018, in the Champions League qualification match against Spartak Moscow, Limnios scored a goal [8] .
International Career
In 2015, Limnios took part in the youth national team of Greece in the European Youth Championship in Bulgaria . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Russia [9] , Scotland [10] and France [11] .
On May 15, 2018, in a friendly match against the Saudi national team, Limnios made his debut for the Greek national team [12] .
