Biography
Chekist. Since October 1941 in the partisan detachment. From April 1942 he headed the combined command of all partisan detachments in the south-western districts of the Oryol region and the northern part of the Sumy region . The occupants were driven out of 370 settlements, and in the south of the Bryansk forests a partisan territory was created with a population of over 200 thousand people. In the summer of 1943 he led the successful defense of the region from two German and two Hungarian divisions.
