In the years 1887-1889. studied in Strasbourg , then in 1892-1896. at the Brussels Conservatory with Eduard Jacobs . She began to give concerts as a student, in 1895 she made her debut with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra at a summer concert in Scheveningen . In 1897, she toured in the UK as part of a family trio with her sisters Charlotte (violin) and Valli (piano), in 1898 - in Norway, along with singer Ludwig Strakos , starting in 1899 made several tours to the USA, performing in New York , Boston , Pittsburgh , etc. Since 1908, she taught at the Klindworth Conservatory in Berlin - Sharvenki . In the same year, during another tour, she became a member of the Detroit String Quartet and soon married his leader, violinist Edmund Lichtenstein, also a graduate of the Brussels Conservatory. As a result of this marriage, by the mid-1910s. finally settled in the United States, where she was engaged more in teaching.
