Aldobrandino III d'Este
Aldobrandino III was the son of Obizzo III d'Este and Lippa Ariosti. After the death of his father, the 17-year-old prince became the ruler of Ferrara and Modena.
He was one of the Italian lords who supported Charles IV during his campaign against Rome . After the coronation of the emperor, Aldobrandino and other rulers who spoke on his side received considerable privileges.
Aldobrandino III died in 1361 in Ferrara.
