Club career
Valsvik is a member of the Vic Club from his hometown. In 2010, Gustav signed his first professional contract with Sogndal . On May 1, in a match against Tromsdalen , he made his debut in the First League of Norway [2] . At the end of the season, Walswick helped the club reach the elite. On March 20, 2011, in his match against Stremgodset, he made his debut in Tippelig [3] . On April 20, 2012, in a duel against Volrenegi , Gustav scored his first goal for Sogndal [4] .
In the summer of 2014, Walswick moved to Stremsgodset. On July 26, in his match against Sunnes Ulf , he made his debut for a new club [5] . On May 16, 2016, in a duel against Sarpsborg 08 , Gustav scored his first goal for Stremgodset [6] .
In the summer of 2016, Walswick moved to Eintracht in Braunschweig. On August 7, in his match against the Würzburger Kickers , he made his debut in the Second Bundesliga. [7] On October 29, 2017, in a duel against Dynamo Dresden, Gustav scored his first goal for Eintracht [8] . At the end of the season, the club flew to the Third League of Germany .
International Career
On March 26, 2017, in the qualifying match of the 2018 World Cup against the Northern Ireland national team, Walswick made his debut for the Norwegian national team [9] .
