2014 World Curling Championship among veterans

The 2014 World Curling Championship among veterans was held in Dumfries ( Scotland ) from April 23 to 30, 2014 for both men's and women's teams. 25 male and 15 female teams took part in the championship. The championship was held for the 13th time. [one]

In the men's tournament, the Canadian team became the champion (9th time in its history), the Swedish national team winning the final. The third place went to the Australian team , who won the US team in the bronze medal match.

In the women's tournament, the champion (for the 2nd time in her history) was the Scottish team , who won the final team of Canada . The third place went to the USA national team , who won the Sweden national team in the bronze medal match.

For the first time, the Polish men's team took part in the championship.

The championship was held simultaneously in the same sports complex (but at different venues) with the 2014 World Championship among mixed couples .
