The company was constantly releasing a new product: for example, Irish Spring deodorizing soap was launched in 1972, then Colgate Winterfresh gel-like toothpaste in 1981, and dishwashing liquid in 1986. The 1990s were marked by the acquisition of new brands, the renewal of the assortment and every possible strengthening of the business (a similar strategy was also chosen by Unilever).
