Geography
The village is located 12 km north-east of the center of the village of Sima and 35 km north of the district center of the city of Yuryev-Polsky .
History
It was founded in the early 1960s as a village of the Simsky forest site as part of the Simsky village council . In 1966, the village of Simsky forest site was renamed the village of Ozerny [2] .
Since 2005 - as part of the Simsky rural settlement .
