The Gayvoronsky Hydroelectric Power Plant (in Ukrainian Gayvoronska GES ) is a small hydroelectric power plant located on the Southern Bug River near the town of Gayvoron, Gayvoronsky District, Kirovograd Region of Ukraine .

History
The construction of the Gayvoronskaya hydroelectric station began in 1956 in accordance with the sixth five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR . The HPP was an integral part of the cascade of small power plants under construction on the Southern Bug River and initially had a design capacity of 4,500 kW [1] .
In 1964, construction was completed and the hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 6300 kW was commissioned. In 1964 - 1972 The hydropower plant provided electricity to the enterprises of the city of Gayvoron and collective farms of the Gayvoronsky district [2] .
