Biography and Creativity
He has been performing extensively since 1987 . In 1991, he founded the Quartet Mateus, with which he won the international competition in Amsterdam two years later. Then the quartet grew up in the Mateus chamber ensemble , specializing in 18th-century music, with which Spinozi already acts as a conductor. The most important author in the repertoire of the Mateus Ensemble is Antonio Vivaldi (four discs have already been recorded, including "Frantic Roland", which received the Victoire de la music award for the best recording of ancient music). 2006 - 2007 were marked by the onset of the Mozart stage in Spinozi's career: he conducted, in particular, “Requiem” and “The Magic Flute” .
