Biography

In the service and class rank since 1846 after graduating from the Imperial College of Law , he studied on the same course as the future chief prosecutor of the Holy Synod , KP Pobedonostsev [1] . Since 1846, secretary of the I department, since 1853 chief secretary of the VIII department, since 1855 the III department of the Government Senate of the Russian Empire. From 1856 he was appointed Estland Provincial Prosecutor . Since 1864, a member of the Ministry of Justice in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Commission on the registration device in Russia [2] .

In 1864 he was promoted to acting State Councilor , Chief Prosecutor of Departments III and IV, the Department of the Herald Master and the Land Department of the Governing Senate. In 1873 he was promoted to Privy Councilor . From 1873 to 1899, the senator was present in the Criminal Cassation Department and the first-present department of the Governing Senate [3] , a real privy councilor . He was awarded all Russian orders up to the Order of Alexander Nevsky granted to him on January 1, 1890 [4] .
