Biography
He entered the service in 1840, in 1843, after graduating from the Mikhailovsky Artillery School, he was promoted to ensign of the guards artillery . In 1848 he was promoted to second lieutenant , in 1849 he was promoted to second officer .
In 1852, after graduating from the Mikhailovsky Artillery Academy in the 1st category, he was promoted to headquarters captain . In 1853 he was promoted to captain. Since 1854, the commander of the 1st battery of the 1st combined brigade of the guards foot artillery.
In 1855 he was promoted to colonel . Since 1858, the commander of the 4th Battery of the Life Guards of the 2nd Artillery Brigade . Since 1863, the commander of the 16th artillery brigade . In 1866 he was promoted to major general . From 1869, the assistant to the chief of artillery, from 1879 to 1895 the chief of artillery of the Vilna military district [2] . Since 1876, the chief of artillery of the 9th Army Corps . In 1877 he was promoted to lieutenant general , a participant in the Russo-Turkish war . Since 1878, the chief of artillery of the occupying forces in Bulgaria .
In 1895 he was promoted to general of artillery . He was awarded all orders up to the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky with diamond signs granted to him on August 30, 1890 [3] .
