State Nature Reserve "Dzhugdzhursky" - a reserve on the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk , on the territory of the Ayano-May district of Khabarovsk Territory , was created on September 10, 1990 . Total area - 859 956 ha. Including the area of the water area - 53,700 ha. The area of the security zone is 252,500 ha. This is the largest (of six) nature reserve in the Khabarovsk Territory.

Three clusters: "Dzhugdzhursky", "Coastal", "Malminsky Islands" with the adjacent water area.
The reserve territory includes the southern part of the Coastal ridge and the central part of the Dzhugdzhur ridge.
Flora
480 species of plants, of which 10 are endemic. On the eastern slopes there is a mountain light coniferous taiga, thickets of cedar dwarf, on the gentle western - taiga forests of ayan spruce .
Six species of plants growing in the reserve are listed in the Red Book of Russia - Valerian Ayan , slipper large-flowered , calypso bulbous , Borodinia largeifolia, Smelovskaya unexpected and Rhodiola rosea [1] .
Fauna
The fauna numbers 211 species of animals. Mammals 42 species, birds 166 species, 126 of them nest here, 4 species of bats. On the coast are rookeries of marine mammals.
In the Red Book of Russia, a sea lion and 14 species of birds are listed: black stork , Lesser Swan , small squirrel, kloktun , white-tailed eagle , Steller's sea eagle , golden eagle , peregrine falcon , gyrfalcon , osprey , wild boar , long-billed fawn , eagle owl and fish owl [1] .
