Scientific Activities in Mathematics
As a mathematician A.V. Chekhonadsky began work in the field of abstract algebra; studies of Jordan algebras with finiteness conditions, continuing the work of E.I. Zelmanova , entered his Ph.D. thesis ( Kiev , KSU , 1987) Since the mid-90s, he has been dealing with algebraic aspects of the theory of automatic control . Together with Ph.D. prof. A.A. The voivode develops a polynomial approach to the synthesis of linear stationary systems with lower-order control, using, along with traditional algebraic tools, optimization methods and graph theory . The method of stabilization of such systems by lower-order regulators, demonstrated on models of a triple classical pendulum, a double inverted pendulum on a moving base, and a synchronous generator with automatic excitation control, is described in A.V. Chekhonadsky ( Novosibirsk , NSTU , 2013)
