Reichsgau Wallonia ( German: Reichsgau Wallonien ; fr. Gau du Reich Wallonie ) - the short-lived Reichsgau of the Third Reich , founded in 1944 in Belgium . It was located in the administrative borders of modern Wallonia, with the exception of the municipality of Comin-Warneton , but included the municipality of Vuren . Epen-Malmedy and Moresnet also did not join the Reichsgau Wallonia, as they were annexed and became part of Germany back in 1940 after the victory of the Third Reich in the French company .
