History
The mausoleum (tomb) was built in the XV-XVI centuries. This is a relatively small structure in the shape of a classic octahedron , with a door and three windows that are now shut. The faces of the building are set on the basement , the walls are crowned with a cornice .
Inside the structure there is a spherical bathhouse on semicircular arches embedded in the plane of the faces. Some lapidarity of dyurbe - simplicity of plan, modest decoration, parsimonious details - suggest to researchers that the Small Octahedron was a typical building for the medieval and later period. Outwardly, the Small Octahedron is a small structure with a dome and resembles a yurt .
During its construction, large solid slabs were used. According to legend, the remains of Mehmed Bey and his son, who lived in Crimea in the 16th century, rest here [3] .
