Abdelsalam El Grissy ( Arabic: عبد السلام الغريسي , January 5, 1962 ) is a former Moroccan footballer who played in the position of striker for the national team of Morocco .

Club career

Abdelsalam El Grissi began his career as a football player and spent most of it in the Moroccan club FAR from Rabat, the capital of the country. In his composition, he three times became the champion of the country and three times won the Morocco Cup. El Grissy spent the 1993/94 season for Raju from Casablanca, after which he returned to PAR. In 1998, the striker went to Oman , where he played for the local Al-Suwake .

As part of the FAR, El Grissy became the top scorer of the Moroccan championship three times (in 1983, 1990 and 1995) [2] .

Team Career

Abdelsalam El Grissi played for Morocco in three matches of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games football tournament in the USA: group stage with Germany [3] , Saudi Arabia [4] and Brazil [5] .

At the 1992 African Cup of Nations in Senegal, El Grissy appeared on the field in only one match, leaving the first team and being replaced in the 36th minute of the game against Zaire [6] .

The forward was included in the Moroccan national team for the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States, where he also played in one match, replacing in a duel with Saudi Arabia [7] .
