By the decision of the Council of People’s Deputies No. 75 dated February 18, 1991, the status of an architectural monument of regional significance was assigned [1] .
Architecture
An example of an educational institution at the beginning of the 20th century. On the site of the building was a park. In architectural terms, it stands out with a peculiar interpretation of the decor from the Cypriot. A planning solution with classes and recreation is typical for the architecture of educational institutions on the eve of the 1917 revolution [2] .
The building was erected in 1909-1910. Located in the southeastern part of the city, set along the red line of Senyansky Street. The two-story volume, brick and unplastered, is placed on a granite basement. Covered with a hip roof. Complicated by the protrusion of the risalit, extensions of the toilets and the school sports complex (construction work is currently underway). Granite blades are laid at the corners of the volume [2] .
The facades are symmetrical, from the side of the streets are three-part, from the yard - with a simplified decor. The walls are cut through by large beam windows with narrow piers. On the northeastern facade, the central risalit is crowned with a stepped attic with a geometric pattern. The facade decoration is complemented by a tape rustication, a multi-tiered stripping of the curb and rows of protrusions imitating the scapulas in the windows. The walls of the lateral parts are lowered [2] .
The main entrance is arranged from the northeast, the remaining entrances are located on the courtyard side and lead to the basement floor. In the interior, two rows of classes are separated by recreation and stairwells. On the second floor, recreation is combined with the room forming the protrusion of the risalit. The interior partially preserved decorative walls and ceilings [2] .
