Biography

Mikhail Radionov was born on September 9, 1984 in the city of Simferopol, Crimean region of the Ukrainian SSR . He trained at the Simferopol Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Cycling No. 1, at different times he underwent training under the guidance of specialists such as V.V. Cherchenko , L.N. Polataiko , V.V. Klimov , V.A. Zagorodni .

In 2009, he first entered the main team of the Ukrainian national team and attended the track world championship in Pruszków , where he performed in Madison and the team pursuit. A year later, at similar competitions in Copenhagen, he started in scratch and madison, showing the sixth and sixteenth results in these disciplines, respectively. At the European Championships in Pruszkow, together with Sergey Lagkuti, he won a bronze medal in Madison, losing only to teams from the Czech Republic and Belgium.

In 2011, he performed at the European and World Championships in Apeldoorn , but could not get here among the winners. The following season he marked his performance at the European Championships in Panevezys, took part in the stages of the World Cup. In 2013, he started at the track world championship in Minsk .

Along with performances on the track, Radionov also participated in road competitions. The most significant achievement during this period was a silver medal in Madison together with Muscovite Andrei Sazanov at the 2015 European Championships in Swiss Grenchen - only the titled Spaniards Sebastian Mora and Albert Torres passed them here [2] .

For outstanding sports achievements he was awarded the honorary title " Master of Sports of Russia of the international class " [3] .
