Rybovalov, Ivan Alexandrovich

Ivan Rybovolov (born November 29, 1981 , Simferopol ) - Ukrainian shooter , a specialist in pistol shooting . Biography

Ivan Rybovalov was born on November 29, 1981 in the city of Simferopol of the Crimean region of the Ukrainian SSR . He has been shooting in the local section since he was thirteen years old, and was trained under the guidance of coaches D. L. Teplyakov and V. M. Makarov .

He achieved the first serious success at the international level in 2002 when he joined the main team of the Ukrainian national team and visited the World Championships in Lahti , from where he brought two awards of bronze dignity, won in 50-meter pistol shooting and air-pistol shooting 10 meters - together with team-mates Oleg Dronov and Viktor Makarov .

In 2005, he won bronze medals at the World Cup in South Korean Changwon.

Starting from 2006, he represented the Odessa region at the competitions, joining the local Dynamo.

In 2007 he took the bronze medal at the world cup stage in Munich.

Thanks to a series of successful performances, he won the right to defend the honor of the country at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . He played here in pistol shooting at 50 meters and in air pistol shooting at 10 meters - he failed to make it into the finals in any of these disciplines, having settled down in the qualification protocols at 20 and 35 positions, respectively [1] [2] [3 ] .

After the Beijing Olympics, he remained in the Ukrainian rifle team and continued to take part in major international competitions. So, in 2009, he won a bronze medal in pistol shooting at 10 meters at an international tournament in Dortmund, Germany [4] .

For outstanding sporting achievements, he was awarded the honorary title " Master of Sports of Ukraine of international class " [5] .

He graduated from the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after KD Ushinsky , where he studied at the faculty of physical education [6] .
