The fourth cabinet of Erdogan

The government of Erdogan is the 66th composition of the government of the Republic of Turkey , acting from July 10, 2018. This is the first composition of the government, formed after the amendments adopted as a result of the referendum came into force, as a result of which the form of government of Turkey changed from a parliamentary republic to a presidential one. The previously existing prime minister’s post was abolished and replaced by the vice president’s post. The number of ministries compared to the previous government was reduced from 25 to 16. Also, according to the adopted amendments, it is impossible to combine the posts of minister and deputy (member of the Great National Assembly ), so the four ministers ( Berat Albayrak , Abdulhamit Gul , Suleiman Soil and Mevlut Cavusoglu ) had to lay down deputy powers to enter the government, as a result, the number of deputies from the Justice and Development Party was reduced in parliament from 295 to 291 [1] .
