Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR - the state award of the RSFSR in 1956-1992. Established by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of July 18, 1956.
The Honorary Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR was awarded for special merits in production, scientific and social and political activities, in social and cultural construction and communist education of workers, in ensuring the security and protection of the Soviet state, for contributing to the strengthening of peace and friendship among nations.
The Certificate of Honor also awarded enterprises, associations, institutions, organizations and their structural subdivisions, military units, autonomous republics , territories , regions , autonomous regions , autonomous regions , districts , cities and other settlements.
The Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR issued decrees on awarding the Certificate of Honor, which were published for general information in the Vedomosti Supreme Council of the RSFSR and in other press organs.
The Resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation No. 2843-I of May 25, 1992 established the Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation , which did not have the status of a state award, and the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of July 18, 1956 RSFSR "declared invalid.
