Club career
Georgy Bachev played for the Bulgarian clubs: Pirin from his native Blagoevgrad , Sofia's Slavia and Levski , as well as for Vikhren . With Levski, he became the champion of Bulgaria three times and won the country's cup three times.
Team Career
On July 22, 1995, George Bachev made his debut for the national team of Bulgaria in a friendly match against Hungary , coming on as a substitute after a break in the game [1] . A week later, he scored his first goal for the national team, noting in a friendly game with Malaysia [2] . Both of these meetings took place in Kuala Lumpur , the capital of Malaysia.
The forward was included in the Bulgarian national team for the 1998 World Cup in France, where he played in two group stage matches with Nigeria [3] and Spain [4] .
